Intriguing. Why "no"? 🤔
It's a pity RJM is not present to clarify what I mean..

Perhaps he would quote:-
24. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon(wealth).
- Gospel of Matthew 6 -

..and the context is about those people who are clearly much wealthier than average.

Right, but wasn't that in response to what @Faithfulservant was saying about it being not our responsibility to judge people but for God to judge their hearts?
Isn't that reasonable?

I know my grandmother had several miscarriages
miscarriages were much more common I believe...my mother (now 93) had 3 children (3 years apart) and a "miscarriage" between each. I use quotes because according to her they weren't called miscarriages then, they were called abortions. She was a nurse....at the time, spontaneous abortions, natural abortions, intentional abortions.

Over 60 million babies were aborted since Roe v Wade
If we can take the Bible and emotions out of it and look at fact..60 million during the time of Roe v Wade...but many multiples of that prior to Roe, and there will be many more after Roe.

The Supreme Court change did not decrease abortions but they increased in 2023! (Oh, and during Roe, compared to our population Roe decreased abortions overall annual per capita abortion rate) so without Roe we prolly would have had more abortions than 60 million same period...but that is only conjecture based on the pattern before and after.

But the real difference in Roe? Fewer women died from abortions during Roe, legal, controlled medical abortions in this case were shown to reduce complications with mothers, reduce maternal deaths during abortions and reduce abortions....aka reduce deaths overall.

Lets start on number 21 on this list and consider that we have aborted the number of people that equates to the population of entire countries. I cannot stomach that.

Let's move on from the subject of abortion - it's obviously tied to social politics and politics itself, so not something really to be discussed here. Let's focus on discussing religion and spiritual beliefs - ie, our relationship to God and the Universe. :)

This entire topic is a tough one as out in the world in real time it is a fusing of religion and politics.
It seems neither Christian nor good for the nation.
I'm just not sure I see anything spiritual about it whatsoever.
It certainly does not seem to celebrate religious freedom for all. :(:confused:o_O

It is amazing how off subject we get on some of these subjects. I often have to go back to the first page to try and remember what we were talking about in the first place. Someone asks a question about Adam and Eve having a belly button and next thing I know we're arguing about pineapple being allowed on pizza. It gets crazy sometimes.

Thread title helps sometimes, as in this case where it's pretty direct. Other thread titles may be more cryptic.

I thought the topic was dead but it was resurrected. I tried to not re-engage but the flesh is weak. Sorry!!

sorry, I failed to understand what you said cause all translations of roe didn't fit...
This is what they mean. Roe and Wade being pseudonymous proper names in a US Supreme Court case from the early 1970s, relevant to the topic.

Sorry to all for adding to the thread, I know we are asked to move from the topic, but with someone asking a good faith question for info and context I just wanted to offer proper information.
