What music are you listening to?

Made a English translation of a swedish worship song, I hope the link will work

You are his words

Rejoice! K'naan is finally back after a long hiatus.

This was in the background just before the power went out in the complex:

The coda for Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac was fading out when the power came back on (I'm just p!ssed off at this.)

I've been listening to a lot of contemporary Christian music recently. I like contemporary music and I think it's a shame that I can only find contemporary Christian music, and not contemporary music from other religious traditions. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. The band I really like is called half alive, their song "creature" is really good (and profound imo)!

This might be perfect/purrfect for a haunted house:

In case it's taken down, the song is The Legend of Wooley Swamp by the Charlie Daniels Band.

Ring them bells

Ring them bells ye heathen from the city that dreams
Ring them bells from the sanctuaries across the valleys and streams
For they're deep and they're wide
And the world's on its side
And time is running backwards
And so is the bride

Ring them bells Saint Peter where the four winds blow
Ring them bells with an iron hand
So the people will know
For it's rush hour now
On the wheel and the plow
And the sun is going down upon the sacred cow

Ring them bells Saint Martha for the poor man's son
Ring them bells so the world will know that God is one
Oh, the shepherd is asleep
Where the willows weep
And the mountains are filled with lost sheep

Ring them bells for the blind and the deaf
Ring them bells for all of us who are left
Ring them bells for the chosen few
Who will judge the many when the game is through
Ring them bells for the time that flies
For the child that cries
When innocence dies

Ring them bells Saint Catherine from the top of the roof
Ring them from the fortress for the lilies that bloom
For the lines are long and the fighting is strong
And they're breaking down the distance between right and wrong

recently into jazz
I always hated Jazz. But in college a friend of mine was listening to some of my music and said "oh, you like jazz". I was confused. I listened to a lot of Cuban music.... Cuban jazz. I also used to listen to a lot of swing music from the 20's and 30's. Then he explained to me that this was also jazz. Didn't realize I loved jazz and that it is such a diverse and broad genre of music.
