Imagine there's no heaven...

"I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:14

BTW, some of those thieves, killers, and destroyers are/were Christians. Are you up to living in eternity with them?

Are you kidding? I number myself with those people.. Jesus didnt come for the pharisees and sadducees He came for the dregs of society. Im a living testament to the sanctification process that comes with being born again. I am also justified meaning just as if Ive never sinned.. Im washed in the blood of Christ. I will also stand on that same blood everytime I allow myself to feel that Im not good enough or that I dont do enough for Him..

For God so loved the whole wide World that He gave His only uniquely begotten Son so that should anyone anytime anywhere come to believe in and on Him would and will be saved and have eternal life with Him from Everlasting to Everlasting.

Do you seriously think God will look favorably on Christians just passing through?

i understand where you misunderstood. for He will create a new heavens and a new earth. look around, everything you see is only temporary, yet people die for it and lust for it, look at yourself and you will see that flesh cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, only His Spirit and Word, can. we are just passing thru to what will actually be our permanent home. i didn't mean to heck with everyone else, patti, what kind of a person would i be if i did mean that?

You don't think we will have a body of flesh in heaven? What did Jesus resurrect to? Did He not implore His disciples to touch his hands and see He has flesh and bones?

Understood. But I place a lot of importance on all His creations. We are here for a reason.

Jesus said to pray for His quick return.. Why would we do that if we are supposed to enjoy this life?

Gen1:1 In beginning god, created the heavens and the Earth.

Gen1:31 After this god saw everything he had made, and look! It was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, a sixth day.

where did you come up with that. I sure never said that.

Did I say, you said that? No? Aha.

The Earth was made by god, only man "went wrong" That doesn't mean everything in this world is bad... There is much, much good.

No, God had a back-up plan. ;)

Seems funny something so superior would even need a back up plan. Like me being out moved by a bag of salted KP nuts.

then someone fer cryin' out loud explain this scripture?

Psalms 95:10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Psalms 95:11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

You'll have the opportunity to ask Him yourself..

well.. You'll be on your face eating dirt and Im pretty sure you wont be thinking anything so trivial as wondering why Jehovah God would decide to do anything as if He needs to run to you to explain Himself.

My heart so totally grieves at the lack of respect some people have for their Creator. My God!

Sure, the Hebrews wandering in the desert really upset Him, so He allowed for that generation to die in the desert while the new generation coming up behind were led into the land flowing with Milk and Honey. Even Moses didn't get to go into the promised land...
