5000...again

Blame it on global warming... Well that or terrorists....

It is unreal here... Real summer heat :p We can trade if you want? I prefer snow/cold :D
Hey, the Dept. of Transportation just put out a traction tire advisary for those driving over the mountain passes--even though driving with traction tires is illegal this late in the season.

This is my first June in Seattle, and I'm glad to hear it's not usually 50 degrees this time of year. If we keep it up, my Summer Solstice ceremony will indeed feel like Imbolc. LOL:rolleyes:

Midatlantic is in the middle of a heat wave, high humidity and hovering around 100 degrees, that would be 38 for you centigrade/celsius folks.

In the valley in Nevada we once had 3" of snow on July 3rd, July 4th it was 80 (27 for over there) and only snow left was in the mountains.

80's and 90's here in Detroit, after April and May were chilly-drizzle months more like extra months of winter. Maybe in Seattle too all of a sudden it will shoot up from pseudo-winter to blazing-summer with nothing in between.

Your overnight low late autumn temperatures are comparable to our late spring high temperatures over the passed couple of weeks!

here in my town, we really only get about a week of winter. (that is, the temp drops to 3celcius at night). not even really needing a heater. but summer is glorious, generally the average day is about 29celcius but the nights are when you need an a/c cos you just cant sleep when its too hot. I dont think i could travel o/s it would be too difficult to judge the temps and what to pack.!!!!!!

Hell on Earth....

I couldn't be comfortable in those conditions.

But it looks like Chris's hot tub could use a good scrubbing.

It's great to see our resident Lunamoth back! Too many good friends are too scarce of late.

As for cleaning the hot tub...I promise I'll leave the Turkish Vans alone this time. I learned my lesson...I've still got the scars.

Togs? Is that like "hamster hammock?"

Gotta luv this multicultural exchange stuff!

By the way, how do you say "beer" down under?
