I need a good soak in the hot tub. I still haven't recovered from having 3 eleven year old boys, hyped up on Halloween candy and armed with their prop weapons from their costumes, bouncing off the walls last weekend. {My son planned this in advance without asking me first. :eek: Of course, his friend's parents were eager for them to stay at my house during the weekend.}

LOL, welcome to MY world. LOL. minus the halloween tho. " Yes, I did ask you, mum and you said Yes>!"
"was I asleep when you asked me?"
"yeah".
How can you win? LOL.
( I discovered quickly how popular you become with the neighbourhood kids when you have a pool.)
LOL, gotta love it.

I promise I'll leave the poor kitties alone this time...I learned my lesson:

My new mantra:

Turkish Vans are *not* loofas...Turkish Vans are *not* loofas...Turkish Vans are *not* loofas... :)

jt3, as long as you interact with them on their terms, you're safe. Otherwise, no guarantees. :eek:

Ahhhhh...hot tub is just what I need! Just got back from a lovely vacation and I'm not ready for reality again yet.

*members of the lunamoth delegation circle then make three-point landings on their favorite landing spot (other than plants)*

Welcome back from vacation, lunamoth. :)

Soda Springs, a naturally carbonated hot springs in California...oh to sit in bubbly water with the bubble accumulating on you body working their way along your skin tickling as they roll up and release... nothing like it, especially during a snow storm...

I've do not believe that I have been to Soda Springs but I have visited Harbon Hot Springs, in Calistoga north of San Fransisco and west of Santa Rosa, on many an occasion. I agree with you wil that a touch of snow fall does add to the aspect.

I have many fond memories of indulging in those pastoral ancient ways with twenty or so of one's fellows. Yet it is at its best when alone with one's thoughts and the quietude of nature.
