why do you ask snoopy?
just wondered on what you were basing your assumption that he "probably" didn't have a wife or children...
that was all.
but he is a spoiled brat.
s.
why do you ask snoopy?
a family is really the best example for being grateful that one at least has a job as opposed to the poor souls in third world countries who just don't have the means to live as well as us westerners. we really have no right to complain or be depressed.
Do not be offended? Maybe I misunderstand, Did you call me a spoiled brat?
sssssshhhhhhhhlol... I bet ur in work now...
The best pc of advice he ever gave me was... it doesn't matter what u do; clean toilets, sweep up broken biscuits, manage a multimillion pound a year company... what u do as such, doesn't matter... far more important is how u do it...
even if u think a task is menial, beneath u, u should still do it with pride, and own it, for it is ur work...
Stock price in WB is doing surprisingly well, considering - hope the new employer looks after you, but if not, let me know for dishing it out on Citi.

My fiancé works at a supermarket. When we get a little more settled, he's going to complete his degree, but he's working at the store now so that I don't have to work. And he's proud of his job because he can support us, pay the rent and buy the food and take me out on dates once a week, and I don't have to work.
It's great advice -- he sees his job not for what it is, namely, a lousy job stocking shelves, but rather for what it allows him to do, which is support his wife and keep her happy.
He's the best damn night captain there, too, he just got promoted to day shift. I'm so proud of him.
Ok.. so how about the dish on Wells Fargo... looks like they put a higher bid in.. lol
Very strong company - share price steady overall despite other US financials crashing. Subprime and dodgy asset exposure - almost zero.
Warren Buffet has around a 10% stake via Berkshire Hathaway, and he announced 5 years ago that subprime assets were toxic and not to be touched.
Not sure where they base their call centres, but has the reputation of being one of the strongest of all the US banks.
With the tax breaks included in the Bailout It won't cost Wells Fargo a dime to acquire, it'll probably go thru.so $7 a share is quite a bit better than .90 cents.. no government involvement but apparently the FDIC is in favor of the merge with citigroup..
With Wells Fargo its a complete merge with no change to any of Wachovia.. they have a call center on the west coast so wont effect ours.. 3 of our board members go onto Wells Fargos board... its a much sweeter dealer for all concerned.
Still up in the air? I hope not... I hope this is solid.
