Jericho!!! See!!!

That is why I put this thread together.

I always wanted to see that thank you for reminding me..... Wait... They ended it? Like... There was an ending and it upset you? OR An ending like 4400/Kings, where they say "yeah ok bored with this now going to just.... stop."

Xena lol I loved it got all the series :D You ever watch Hercules (the legendary journeys) Just like Xena... (and legend of the seeker to boot) It was filmed in New Zealand in the same areas... Like Xena... It had that... "level" of acting I just love lol. Was like a sister/brother act those two series.

No the ending of Jericho was like Kings.. "fuh.. did I miss something?" It only lasted like 2 seasons but it was really good.. they were going to end it after the first season but at the ending of the first season someone quoted someone saying "Nuts" and tons of people sent a crapload of nuts to the producers so they extended it to see if it would pick up more viewers.. I was hoping someone else would pick up the series but they didnt. Still worth watching..

I loved both Xena and Hercules but Xenas my girl! I havent seen Legend of the Seeker but I will for sure watch it now if you compare them.

Omg I just looked at my list and I forgot House!! House is up high on my list too

You ever catch that show Dead like me??? Another great but short one.

Top 10? I don't think I can do that, but That Seventies Show gets watched a lot in my house. Every season on DVD, so I guess we're fans. ;) Lately we've been watching In Treatment, which is okay. The latest, though, is Big Bang Theory, and oh, I think I like this one. Oh, yes.

Penny: Wow, a marathon, how many Superman movies are there?
Sheldon: You're kidding, right?
Penny: You know, I do like the one where Lois Lane falls from the helicopter and Superman swooshes down and catches her. Which one was that?
Leonard, Sheldon, Wolowitz: *One.*
[Raj holds up one finger]
Sheldon: You know that scene was rife with scientific inaccuracy?
Penny: Yes, I know men can't fly...
Sheldon: No, no, let's assume that they can... Lois Lane is falling, accelerating at an initial rate of 32 feet per second per second... Superman swoops down to save her by reaching out two arms of steel... Miss Lane, who is now traveling at approximately 120 miles an hour, hits them and is immediately sliced into three equal pieces.
Leonard: Unless Superman matches her speed and decelerates.
Sheldon: In what space, sir, in what space? She's two feet above the ground. Frankly, if he really loved her, he'd let her hit the pavement. It'd be a more merciful death.
Leonard: Well, excuse me! Your entire argument is predicated on the assumption that Superman's flight is a feat of strength.
Sheldon: Are you listening to yourself? It is well established that Superman's flight is a feat of strength. It is an extension of his ability to leap tall buildings, an ability he derives from Earth's yellow sun!
Wolowitz: And you don't have a problem with that? How does he fly at night?
Sheldon: Uh, a combination of the Moon's solar reflection, and the energy storage capacity of Kryptonian skin cells.
Penny: I'm just gonna go wash up.
Leonard: I have 26 hundred comic books in there; I challenge you to find a single reference to "Kryptonian skin cells."
Sheldon: Challenge accepted!

big bang theory has great writers....and once you become familiar with the characters and their pecking order it is absolutely hilarious.

I think my favorite to date was when Leonard's mom came to town...

I'm watching some anime series (although not Bleach.)

Moribito is a story about what people will do/how far they will go if given very difficult choices (like the life of your child vs. the lives of your countrymen, your identity vs. the safety of your ward, your home vs. your life, etc.)

Yomigaeru Sora Rescue Wings is about a unit in the Japanese Special Forces that works like a cross between the Coast Guard and Civil Air Patrol (I've mentioned this series before.)

Ayakashi Ayashi is a series about a special group of outcasts (one's a "drifter" who has a secret, a second one is an actress, a third one is a cross-dressing Shinto priest, the fourth is a "mountain man" ["underground" indigenous person], the fifth is a runaway Aztec girl who somehow snuck into Japan and the sixth is a samurai who has studied "Western" myths and folklore) who are "assigned" the task of ridding the country of demons back in the Edo period.

Ayatsuri Sakon is about a young puppeteer who helps solve mysteries through his careful manipulation of his child puppet (and almost constant companion.)

Oh, and a non-anime series (I have the DVD of it): The Storyteller. A couple of names involved in it are Jim Henson and John Hurt (I enjoy it, so sue me!)

ya think some marketing guru modeled her on the techhie gal in NCIS? That they decided to parlay on her popularity and acceptance? Speaking of NCIS, if my sister was alive she'd love that show, she had a crush on Illya Kuryakin from Man from U.N.C.L.E. as a kid.

I've watched every episode of Chuck til now. I think they're kinda jumping the shark in the upcoming season.

It means they are headed on the way down.... I lost interest in Chuck a while ago, it was fun for a while... I'm looking for F Troop....

Way down!? ARGH! Why do they do this to -me- wil.... Why? You're paying them off right?

F Troop? Hmmm I might check that out.... Going through old series after I've done the X-Files... Gilligans Island I got all them... Watched the first episode... Wasn't impressed but... We'll hold out. And the Munsters!!! :D

I think the writers get tired, they have so many bits in them and then start to lose it. Years ago I knew some folks that wrote some star trek episodes and some others...average joes with an idea...not writers...just john q publick and they wrote a couple and got paid for them some of these things need an infusion of new blood to spur different thought but I don't know if that is an open avenue anymore.

Chuck looks almost like comedia del arte to me in a way...they have a plan for the year...here is where we start...here is where we end...we need the romantic interlude, the office conflict, this issue and that and inbetween we run on tangents and work our way back to the plan...ok who has an idea for an episode and how will it tie into our scheme?

old series.... the prisoner...alfred hitchcock...twilight zones...what was that show with Mrs. Peele? and Get Smart...My Favorite Martian....Gunsmoke...Big Valley...Bonanza...what was the one that Chuck was in? Have gun will travel....Mannix....Rockford Files....
