So does mine..when I take my dogs for a walk around our forest property, Bella follows us, meowing all the way. So much fun..can't wait for the snow to melt because all of us love warm weather and spend winter gathered around the fire in our wood burning stove, staying warm.

@17th..Handsome dogs.. Just read up on them and they seem perfect for children..are they really called The Nanny Dog?

I am a hound woman myself..especially scent hounds. Dachshunds are my passion. :)


About those Native American Indians..just remember, the British and French settled this country in the east while Spain did their damage in the West and Southwest. I sometimes think that Europeans forget that the Americas are descended from y'all. ;)

Lately I've been watching Farscape on netflix (on season 2) and the last few episodes of Dollhouse on hulu as they come out. Joss Whedon's always getting the short end of the stick. Watching Heroes as well and disappointed so far with the new episodes.
 
^ I agree about Whedon. Love Dollhouse, Farscape, Angel, and Buffy. Heroes is tiresome and I firmly believe that it is rip off of the 4400.

Indeedy doo dee. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, I guess... Is more known for it's notoriety... (Sadly, yeah we tend to remember the bad much more than the good...) The breed came aboot in the 17th century. It is the original "pitbull" Standing out from any other breed renown for it's warrior like will, very determined, couragous dogs oozing with tenacity. It is a four legged gladiator. Because they were bred to pit... Which was like banned (thank god...) in like the 1830's. Although in some places this sadly still goes on illegally.... a**hole "owners" who do not help the dog from it's undeserved reputation as a monster, baby killer, man eater..... These are the pr*cks that should be punished.... "deed not breed". You get many people that get these dogs for the "image" for the undeserved rep... And to pit...... And most of these end up in dog homes....... Cause, they grow tired of them...... This is an extremley loyal animal.... It DESERVES much better..... I assure you go to any dog home..... I assure you there will be Staffords there..... :/ The most common breed to be dumped in a home.

Anyway. All their old jobs went... Baiting, Pitting, Ratting... All jobs being inhumane were banned. Then to stop this breed perishing a group of people in Staffordshire ;) Made a group (of all walks of life, rich and poor.) to preserve this awesome breed... Hence... The Staffordshire Bull terrier. They have insane..... -insane- pain thresholds. Like some kinda beserker lol.... Really.

And this even though it sounds daunting and scary..... This is the key, the reason they -are- so good with children. (I am not saying to do this, and I strongly disagree with bad treatment of any dog.) But a child can pull this dogs tail... Stand on it's paw... Poke it in the eye.. Pull it's ear.... Ride it like a horse lol.... And this dog will take it. Try that with any other dog....

You find the Stafford will in natural situations... Grow an intense bond to children. (especially female Staffords.) My best friends dog called 'Bo'.... She looks after their two daughters like they are her own... They are sometimes heavy handed... Although growing up now lol..... But the dog never even DREAMS of inflicting pain upon them... And when they go for a walk if the kids are there... This dog will always go on it's way playing and what not... But, if you pay attention you can see she always has an eye on the kids... And if anyone is near the kids she instantly will run back and put herself between the strangers and the children and escort them lol.

I know there are a few cases in the media about dog attacks.... But, I would urge anyone... To look into these cases more... Question it all and look at the details... And come to your own conclusion of this breed and of these stories.... Don't let them make up your mind........

OH... Sorry... Yeah, nanny dogs lol.... Yes correct the Stafford got the nickname in WWII when there were low numbers of people on the island... Obviously most were at war and what not..... Orphanages where "manned" by Staffordshire bull terriers :) They would Protect the children.

And if I had children (one day!) I would be 100% confident leaving my family and children with my dogs... And know when I come home they would all be safe, protected and intact. :)

Anyway lol... I'll shut up... I can bang on allllll day about them lol.
 
Started the first season of Lost last weekend. They have the first 5 seasons on Netflix and I love it. I love shows that develop the characters and this one certainly does it.
 
Caught an episode of chuck the other night....another series I've had enough of.

Big Bang still on top... I liked that Cleaner thing....is it gone?

Wouldn't be able to check without being at one of my own CPU's... But I am certain that I have downloaded six seasons of Lost. You're missing a season, yet not missing much lol.

veering off topic... You played Dragon Age yet? When I was playing it it felt like Balders Gate or Neverwinter Nights and my hubby told me duh they all the made the same things.. and Im like I dont know who makes these things.. I just know what I like. anyways great game..
 
I am not.... Sure, if it is getting lame.. And, I think that is "meant to happen" lol... It has become all exagerated and pulled out of it's original context.... The story has become too deep and confusing... And I think it's like... Meant to be like that, cause they've really run out of anything to say lol... I'm too confused to find it lame. You see?

Dragon age... No... I hasn't played teh dragon age yet... I am attracted to these sort of games... And I pick them up... And I instantly say... Hmmm this kinda looks like Oblivion... Cool! Then I think..... Hmmm Then again... This is what I thought of 'Two worlds' and that game literally bit butt.

MorrowWind, The Elder scrolls was far superior to Oblivion. It was anti-climatic when Oblivion came out. But MorrowWind.....I was absorbed for a month straight playing through it ( I was up North and it was winter and I was stuck in -40C in January and it helped to ward off the cabin fever :D)
 
Morrowind was ok... But it was just a game. Oblivion is on another level, more than a game... Bigger than a hollywood feature... Big, big names doing the excellent voice acting... And the sound track..... o.m.g. The orchestra just blows you away.... The story was much deeper than that of morrowind. And such a vast range of situations and events for you to partake in.... The add ons are sweet, Knights of the nine and shivering isle of course being the main players.... Sheogorath The Daedra Prince of Madness... lol That entity is my god lol. Oh, did I mention the face melting graphics? ;)

Don't get me wrong I loved morrowind... But then Oblivion came out. Then again, when you put five years of effort into creating one game.... I guess it is expected.
 
I watch Chuck and The Big Bang theory. They are both hilarious. I'm a geek deep down so I can really relate to the characters.
 
Just finished ALL of the Xfile seasons.... Left me feeling empty.... Disappointed.

Next, onto pretty much every UFO documentary ever made lol.... 11GB's of them lol.

I downloaded a documentary about UFO's a couple days ago... Basically for novelty not education... It is called "I believe in UFO's." And it is done by.... Danny Dyer.... lol... For those of you that know who Danny Dyer is, will understand why I laugh...... Danny Dyer... He's 'well naughty'.
