Ah, you caught me red-handed. Gotta get recipes for later this week (we eat dairy until we start mooing, and I have to add variety to said "dairy feast".) So far it's been mostly Tex-Mex (quesadillas, spinach enchilladas, vegetarian burritos, chili con queso, etc.) but I might make some Oriental items (like miso soup, edamame soybeans, vegetarian hotpot, etc.) for those who would rather eat stuff they're more familiar with. I might throw on a few portabello cheeseburgers, too.
It's also final exam time, so things are rather hectic around here. Clare's going for her black belt exam as well. She's been practicing with several of the guys who are proficient in karate, and a few of them are quite pleased with her progress (and are thankful for the practice/
katas) although they won't admit it to her.
Asami, Kazumi, Kirishima and FeiLong are studying for their infamous business class's final exam, Tao watching them intently since he's going to take a few classes over the summer and he wants to get an idea what he might expect (especially if he registers for college classes next fall.)
My friend, America, hopes that he signs up for either her math class (that is, if she teaches a higher math class than this spring [she thinks he'd kill someone if he's stuck with students like the ones she was stuck with this semester]) or her other friend, Lynn's, class (if so, they'd have to be reminded to speak English in class so the other students would be able to understand the class, too.)
The dance classes are over, but several of the guys signed up for summer sessions ("If you don't practice, you forget what you've learned."
) Takaba's rather proud of what he's learned in the belly dancing class, showing the choreographers as many routines as he possibly can for a beginner, hoping to be able to perform the 26th (our fundraiser for Children's Hospital.) Asami's none too happy about it, though.
Oops, gotta go. The sounds of many humanoid footsteps running in the same direction, and it doesn't sound like a leisurely run, if you know what I mean.
