Is Britain no longer a 'Christian' country?

I disagree again with your terminology. There is a difference between Law and Moral attitude.
Is that why "Christians" that support Trump have issues with Muslim immigrants? Ideologically there are some denominations that believe there is no Law anymore, that it was fulfilled and no longer applicable. I find that assertion atrocious, but whatever. If it were just Moral attitude they were looking for, shouldn't every man woman and child on the streets be given shelter either in empty homes or empty rooms? Shouldn't we as a nation be funnelling without worry anyone fleeing a war? Showing compassion and sharing whatever wealth they have regardless of the hardship it places on themselves. Isn't that the Moral Attitude displayed by Jesus (PBUH). And if so, wouldn't that "supposed to do it this way" attitude therefore be a law?

Reminds me of all the Christians going on & on & on in this country about keeping Christ in Christmas. I thought this was a very poignant response:

“Want to keep Christ in Christmas? Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love your enemies, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.”

Steve Maraboli, Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience

Well my question wasent rhetorical. What exactly do Christians think is a Christian law? There can be Mosaic law or Islamic law, but what is Christian law. And If there is still a law left, what was the benefit of Jesus' divine sacrifice?

Morality is the same in every religion. You can sit with a Siberian Shaman and I am sure his morals are gonna be the same as Christian ones

Love your neighbor as I have loved you...

The when have we let you go hungry... Section.,.. Many Christians need to re read that...

I know how much everyone loves Bill Maher on this site; still as it pertains to this discussion here is a piece that is Spot On about many modern day christians. Supply Side Jesus. The relevant point starts around 3:15 if you don't want to listen to the rest of his monologue, although that is spot on too.

The majority of Christians do this as best we can. All said and done I think Christians still do more than Antagonists and Atheists. My opinion of course.

Hey Bill, thanks for generalizing Republican Christians. Yeah, I'm sure all Democrats and Atheists like yourself are saints.

Lol...

Which post are you referring to? This?
Tis the others... Who Trump us in this regard, they Cruz through with their rhetoric and the world thinks we are just a bunch of Huckabees cause we can't Kasich for ourselves.

Oh I guess I missed that one. Haha funny :)

I don't like either Trump (he is a jerk), or Cruz or Huckabee (since they supported Kim Davis). I think Kasich is all right. He's doing poorly right now in the polls, hope he'll do better soon.

Republican Christians or Conservative Christians are demonized because we believe in the old Testament and the Ten Commandments as the moral grounding for humanity in general. For that we are labeled Bigots and haters....Lucky us...

Lol, not even... The demonization comes in on the interpretations of those scriptures... Short earther, anti evolution, gay bashing, bigotry, misogyny... When these things pop up (individually or in combination) that is where it comes from... When folks nod and cheer at trumps outright lies...(is there any fact check organization that gives him a passing grade?).

I surrely don't paint all Christian Republicans with the same brush, (as by voting registration and the church I attend I are one)... (Hint, I vote every election and have never voted dem for prez).

I have been labeled and called a Hater and Bigot so many times it isn't funny. Being a Christian isn't as easy as it used to be. lol

really? I don't understand how that could be by just being Christian... Now if you were gay bashing or keeping women from having a role in the congregation I can see issues. But I have never felt oppressed in any way being a Christian, or being a white male... Compared to any other religion in this country I feel among.the privileged and least attacked... I do realize we are no longer the only shows in town like 50 years ago...
