Yes the most high JEHOVAH , is also known as THE ANCIENT OF DAYS .

and in DANIEL 7;13-14 it was the most high Jehovah that GAVE the son of man (JESUS CHRIST) KINGSHIP.and that happened in 1914 inline with bible prophecy and chronology:) its all happening since 1914

The most High Mee according to Christians, is Jesus, who is one and the same God as the Father.

And the Father does not go by the name "JEHOVAH", never did. It is a human invention (pagan humans at that).

The most High Mee according to Christians, is Jesus, who is one and the same God as the Father.

what does the bible teach us, that is the aurthority would you not agree ?

The Hebrew Scriptures are consistently clear in showing that there is but one Almighty God, the Creator of all things and the Most High, whose name is Jehovah. (Ge 17:1; Isa 45:18; Ps 83:18)

The Christian Greek Scriptures do not contradict this teaching that had been accepted and believed by God’s servants for thousands of years, but instead they support it. (Mr 12:29; Ro 3:29, 30; 1Co 8:6; Eph 4:4-6; 1Ti 2:5)

yes ,as all christians are aware Jesus is GODS SON

because I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me.JOHN 6;38

yes the most high JEHOVAH sent Jesus to the earth , Jesus as the first-born of creation , left his heavenly abode willingly ,and was born out of a woman .

and it was the most high Jehovah who sent him . as JOHN 3;16 Informs us.

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him."—John 3:16, 17.

Jesus himself said: "The Father is greater than I am." (John 14:28)

YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am John 14;28

By this the love of God was made manifest in our case, because God sent forth his only-begotten Son into the world that we might gain life through him. The love is in this respect, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent forth his Son as a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins.
1 JOHN 4;9-10

yes ,as Jesus said himself, I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me I speak these things.
And he that sent me is with me; he did not abandon me to myself, because I always do the things pleasing to him"! (John 8:28, 29)

for true christians we have to keep to true bible teachings , its the only way to go. THE BIBLE :)

But just why do well-educated clergymen fail to understand and teach these plain Bible truths? Because they prefer the traditions and philosophies of men to the written Word of God.

Listening to Jesus is the way to go

I have not come of my own initiative, but he that sent me is real, and you do not know him. I know him, because I am a representative from him, and that One sent me forth."—John 7:28, 29.

No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom position with the Father is the one that has explained him. (John 1:18)

Not that any man has seen the Father, except he who is from God; this one has seen the Father.John 6:46.

Do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son?"—John 10:36.

Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father." (Matthew 24:36)

A voice came out of the cloud: This is my Son, the beloved listen to him.
Mark 9:7.

God anointed [Jesus] with holy spirit and power.—Acts 10:38.

As we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus. For the joy that was set before him he endured a torture stake, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."—Hebrews 12:2.

For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name."—Philippians 2:9.

The head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God."—1 Corinthians 11:3.

yes ,who does Jesus look to for headship, it is the most high JEHOVAH .

O Sovereign Lord Jehovah, . . . who is a god in the heavens or on the earth that does deeds like yours?(Deuteronomy 3:24)

When all things will have been subjected to him [Jesus], then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone."—1 Corinthians 15:28.

True Christians avoid mixing Bible truth with human philosophy.

:) the bible is good:)

We agree on this Mee.
Are you finally ready to have a discussion using the Bible only and not the Watchtower or their corrupted version?
i am glad to say that the bible is the arthority for all Jehovahs witnesses :) and all their teachings are inline with the bible .

and it is very good .:)

The Bible itself says it is from God, mankind’s Creator

Bible prophecy explains the meaning of world conditions

The Bible enables us to understand the purpose of life

The Bible shows how we can have the very things that lovers of righteousness desire most

It is filled with prophecies reflecting detailed knowledge of the future—something impossible for humans

Its contents are scientifically sound on matters that human researchers discovered only at a later date

Its internal harmony is significant

yes, its Jehovah Gods written Word to humankind.

and now , we are well along into bible prophecy and things are moving along with Jesus as a Reigning King .

yes its all happening especially since Jesus was given kingship in 1914, bible prophecy is very good Daniel 2;44 Daniel 7;13-14 MATTHEW 24;14

2 Tim. 3:16, 17: "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

its good for us all to be inline with the bible and with Gods purpose, then we can be on the right path .

are you ready to go to the channel Jesus is feeding .
Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings. matthew 24;45-47

:) it is very good :) it gives our real good spiritual food and keeps us healthy . only the good stuff.............NICE .

But wait Mee that is not from the Bible that is from the Watchtower so you are still adding to the Bible.

yes its all happening in the last days, inline with bible prophecy and chronology and its very good:)

AMAZING, how you avoid a straight up question. Of course that is typical of your faith, to avoid the hard questions.

hard questions
its very clear in the bible that Jesus is now a reigning king in Gods heavenly kingdom . its not hard to see at all . and ones of the GREAT CROWD revelation 7;9-10 , are waving their symbolic palm branches to welcome this reigning king , and they are also recognizing the one on the throne who gave him that kingship .

yes ,and it was given to Jesus in 1914 right on time .
At the appointed times of the nations ,or as the king james version says (the end of the gentile times)
Luke 21:24,
its all happening in the time of the end :) yes as psalm 2;12 says KISS THE SON in other words welcome him .:) i am waving my palm branch :)

1914-A Significant Year in Bible Prophecy

DECADES in advance, Bible students proclaimed that there would be significant developments in 1914. What were these, and what evidence points to 1914 as such an important year?

As recorded at Luke 21:24, Jesus said: "Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the appointed times of the nations ["the times of the Gentiles," King James Version] are fulfilled." Jerusalem had been the capital city of the Jewish nation—the seat of rulership of the line of kings from the house of King David. (Psalm 48:1, 2) However, these kings were unique among national leaders. They sat on "Jehovah’s throne" as representatives of God himself. (1 Chronicles 29:23) Jerusalem was thus a symbol of Jehovah’s rulership.

How and when, though, did God’s rulership begin to be "trampled on by the nations"?

This happened in 607 B.C.E. when Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians. "Jehovah’s throne" became vacant, and the line of kings who descended from David was interrupted. (2 Kings 25:1-26) Would this ‘trampling’ go on forever? No, for the prophecy of Ezekiel said regarding Jerusalem’s last king, Zedekiah: "Remove the turban, and lift off the crown. . . . It will certainly become no one’s until he comes who has the legal right, and I must give it to him." (Ezekiel 21:26, 27) The one who has "the legal right" to the Davidic crown is Christ Jesus. (Luke 1:32, 33) So the ‘trampling’ would end when Jesus became King.

When would that grand event occur?

Jesus showed that the Gentiles would rule for a fixed period of time. The account in Daniel chapter 4 holds the key to knowing how long that period would last. It relates a prophetic dream experienced by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He saw an immense tree that was chopped down. Its stump could not grow because it was banded with iron and copper. An angel declared: "Let seven times pass over it."—Daniel 4:10-16.

In the Bible, trees are sometimes used to represent rulership. (Ezekiel 17:22-24; 31:2-5)

So the chopping down of the symbolic tree represents how God’s rulership, as expressed through the kings at Jerusalem, would be interrupted. However, the vision served notice that this ‘trampling of Jerusalem’ would be temporary—a period of "seven times." How long a period is that?

Revelation 12:6, 14 indicates that three and a half times equal "a thousand two hundred and sixty days." "Seven times" would therefore last twice as long, or 2,520 days. But the Gentile nations did not stop ‘trampling’ on God’s rulership a mere 2,520 days after Jerusalem’s fall. Evidently, then, this prophecy covers a much longer period of time. On the basis of Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6, which speak of "a day for a year," the "seven times" would cover 2,520 years.

The 2,520 years began in October 607 B.C.E., when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians and the Davidic king was taken off his throne. The period ended in October 1914. At that time, "the appointed times of the nations" ended, and Jesus Christ was installed as God’s heavenly King.—Psalm 2:1-6; Daniel 7:13, 14.

Just as Jesus predicted, his "presence" as heavenly King has been marked by dramatic world developments—war, famine, earthquakes, pestilences. (Matthew 24:3-8; Luke 21:11)
Such developments bear powerful testimony to the fact that 1914 indeed marked the birth of God’s heavenly Kingdom and the beginning of "the last days" of this present wicked system of things.—2 Timothy

And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of [the] end. Many will rove about, and the [true] knowledge will become abundant."
daniel 12;4

Mee, I propose you pay a tax of 10p for every paragraph you cut and paste to these pages. Not to the watchtower but to a non-aligned charitable organisation. Every paragraph that is your own words you can deduct 10p. I still reckon you'll be bankrupt inside a month.

Decades before that date, of 1914 ,there was an organization of people who were making known the significance of 1914.

yes ,International Bible Students’ [Jehovah’s Witnesses] .

The Bible also foretold that "in the final part of the days" people from all nations would be going, figuratively, "to the mountain of Jehovah" where he would "instruct [them] about his ways."

The prophecy says that, as one result of such instruction, "they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. . . . :)neither will they learn war anymore.:)" (Isaiah 2:2-4) The well-known record of Jehovah’s Witnesses regarding war is a clear fulfillment of this prophecy.

yes in more ways than one , 1914 is a very significant date . and its all happening in the time of the end .Jesus really is a reigning king .

Why? Why do the JWs look for tomorrow, when today has enough challenges to be tackled? Tomorrow hasn't happened yet. Today is now, and people need us NOW. As God's children we are expected to focus on the issues at hand, not on what might or might not be in the future.

In short, I could care less about tomorrow. I have today, and there is much to be done before the sun sets. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Get busy with today, right now, this moment. Heaven is already at hand and we are ignoring it...especially you.

Q

Why not make 2008 an important year?

Any can see how awful the ‘me’ can be. How to ground it, that has taken quite some time to develop. Yet as we stand (sit) each of us can do something right now that may begin to change each new person exposed to the no nonsense truth of matters.

So how about 1914 be the your of an old idea, yet 2008 be the year of active duty.

Mee, I propose you pay a tax of 10p for every paragraph you cut and paste to these pages. Not to the watchtower but to a non-aligned charitable organisation. Every paragraph that is your own words you can deduct 10p. I still reckon you'll be bankrupt inside a month.

Ouch! But a no nonsense assertion about plagiarism and how rude it is to assume that a single book will have enough material to change anyone’s mind. Well maybe if that someone had not read …………………. Any other book.

What does each person feel and represent? That is usually the best dialogue within a forum.

as each becomes grounded or even fed up with the continuous irresponsible conveyance of ignorant material….. it appears knowledge is a cure all.

and makes fools of diviners

and no where in the performance of 'intent' to pursue knowledge, is there a precept to tear down the religious empire; its simply of consequence of true knowledge.
