What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

NitM2 Was average...... Not at all as good as the first PM, The only scene I found amusing to the point of laughter out loud was the "don't touch it" scene Stiller has with the Security guard.

Bed time stories in my list to watch, I think it's 8th on the list.

Haha that was the funniest part! Didn't rate it as good as the first one either.

Bed time stories will have you in stiches I prefered that out the two by far.

Animal house seen it, but not much of it is actually coming back to my memory... That can only be a sign I didn't enjoy it.... *thinks hard* (5mins later) Nope... Nothing is coming up, but I remeber the sign outside their house and I also recall that chubby faced dude... I've seen this.... Wait... They have a toga party? No... They have some new people join their group? And they take them to a haunted house to haze them right? Right?

Guess I didn't complete my thought. Yes Animal House was like the first comedy of that generation...moving from dramatic comedy or slapstick to slapstick dramatic skit fart comedy with an edge.

I think Hangover ups the ante from what we've had lately for 'youthful' comedy...adds some more substance while retaining the fart flavor.

Watched 'JSA: Joint Security Area', last night a Korean film made in 2000 by the writers/directors of 'oldboy' a more known film.. Really good, I enjoyed it more than oldboy, it is based on the JSA which is where the North and South Korean soldiers stand toe-toe in the DMZ.

There is a case where a South soldier is suspected of being kidnapped by Northern soldiers... The NNSC send a swedish and a swiss officer in to take up the case as there are two dead soldiers involved..... They suspect the South's sgt who was kidnapped may know more as they find 8 bullets in the soldiers 3 missed rounds.... And the soldiers gun still holds 5 rounds..... Which makes 16 bullets.... But, *dramatic pause* His weapon can only hold 15... lol.. Good film worth a watch!!

I then bumped Bedtime Stories up my list and watched it lol I agree with PM way better than Hangover!

Clip holds 15 and one chambered?

I remember in my youth some big prisoner exchange or something happening there...everyone watching with baited breath on television, waiting for something to go horribly wrong.

Tragic how we do that isn't it...... Transaction goes smooth, and we all feel a little cheated inside... *tuts*

Indeed, he may full-clip and then place one in the chamber..... But, does he? *dramatic jingle*

Wil if you get the chance see it, don't ask why... I feel you'll like it..... :)

Autumn.... It sucked. Poor acting/writing/plot.... lol, I tend to be harsh with no mercy upon survival films.... And I could spend hours tearing this to ****. One major down side to it... It's over two freaking hours long... zzzz. If I watch a film from start, I -have- to watch it to the end... So a crappy production like this over such a time peroid was an endurance test.

(the?)Knowing. Good film :D Again, surprised as I loathe the style Cage calls acting... Basically, a school is founded... A child thinks it would be a good idea to, create a time capsule... That all the children could put pictures in, of how the vision the "future" to be... And in 50 years time (now/present) The children of the school could open it to see! :D

The girl who came up with idea however, doesn't draw a picture... Oh no..... She fills both sides of her peiece of paper.. with numbers! (dun dun dun dun!!! DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!......................DUN!...................dun.) What could they mean!?!! Anyways... Good film.

I saw Bruno. Where Borat was edgy and fresh, Bruno was a lot of seemingly random footage with little cohesion, more shocking than funny.

Ah I dunno, watching it tonight! thought you perhaps had seen it... Here is a copy and paste of the details of it;

In the Jewish tradition of arguing with God, Jewish prisoners in Auschwitz decide to put God on Trial. Is an attrocity such as the holocaust compatible with a belief in a benevolent god? This question is argued passionately on both sides by the Jewish inmates of a concentration camp as they await their probable deaths at the hands of the nazis. Most of the talking points of the current atheist - theist dialectic are discussed in a wide-ranging, intelligent, and provocative debate. With fine performances, taut direction, and an incisive script, this is a first rate drama that builds to an emotionally charged conclusion.

He continues o find things that bother us and exploit them. Bruno was definitely no Borat.

I do have issues with his methods of conning himself into places...and using folks in order to create his movies.

Whenever I watch Sasha I'm always in 2 minds, one admiring his comical genius and the other frowning on his work ethics.
