What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

I just watched "Love me if you dare." French film. Nice camera work and overall visuals. Kinda reminded me of a darker version of Pushing Daisies, if you've seen that. Not the story, just the look.

It's about a game of dare between this girl and boy, but it's also a lot more than that. It's complicated, and it's pretty crazy stuff sometimes. It's kinda like a warped love story, over the span of these two people's lives. It's not the total chick flick that you'd imagine from the title either. The ending is kinda weird, but not bad. Just weird.

I'd recommend it!

17, aw, it's not so bad... It's only French in language! You should really give it a chance, it's pretty funny and a whole lot a other stuff. It's like you kinda have to settle into this strange and different world at first, but you'll soon be sucked in and comfortable there. Kinda like watchin anime in japanese with subs. It's weird at first, but pretty soon your rolling your eyes at the bad voice acting in the english version... lol.

Well, if ya can't stomach that one, how about The United States of Leland? Ummm, I don't even know how to start explainin this one, but it's a movie that really is emotionally affecting. And it'll make you think. It's pretty good schtuffs. People should watch it! Wee! :D

Since I've been working on my Graphik Novel, I haven't watched a freaking thing apart from A4 sheets of paper or my Laptop monitor heh..... Listening to the harry potter audio books Halfway through the third one right now, Once I have completed my works, or somehow escape the grasp of my work for a period of time I will check out NY I told you I would! My word is bond!

One of the reviews was mostly silent except for the clips (Good Son) because the reviewer literally lost his voice he ranted so much about it.

He can "dis" with the best of them.

That was one I just couldn't buy the premise...lol...just said I liked Aliens in the Attic...now I guess that was because that was just goofy, fun, no implication of any sort of reality. Where some scifi and Benjamin Button seems to try to take me to accepting it...and I can't get there...

I know we all do it.... But "professional" critics need a head kicking lol..... Sitting there on their self righteous thrones of bs, ripping the sh*t out of other peoples creations .... See them do something better :/

The ones that on purpose give negative replies.. I assume like this dude, not bothering to look at the link are the worst of the *****.
 
the ugly truth ... a chick flick with guy humor in it. So she gets what she wants and he'll get what he wants...and a few chuckles along the way.

considering it was adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald I think in this current time it was done justice. was kind of weird seeing brad pitts face on an old man the size of a 6 year old.
 
My gf notebooked me last night (made me watch notebook). 2 hours of pure chick flick (unrealisitic hollywood bull****). Never watching it again.
 
Three TV shows. Great stuff!

Pushing Daisies, warning, canceled due to mass stupidity...

Dead Like Me, dido... gone the way of Firefly... which is another awesome show, as is it's tie up loose ends movie adaptation, Serenity...

Also, my complete and absolute favorite:

Supernatural, god I love this show. Everything about it just screams friggen genius!

Check em out! They are the awesome!

Oh, and saw GI Joe. Twas pretty cool, nicely transitioned into live action! It's a winner for just being a pretty cool watch, with plenty of action and explosions, and snake eyes is the sh1t!

Some, one's, got, the screener, of, Inglourious Basterds...... :D! Might watch it tonight...

Those that have no idea about this... Basically its a bunch of jews that act just as bad as the nazis.... :D Hunting killing torturing stalking the Nazi soldiers in France (WWII era) Kinda upset to begin with, thought it was going to be a white power film like romper stomper or American history X.

Only down side, Quintons last like 3 movies have been utter horse s***.
 
Saw Julie and Julia. Thought it was pretty good.

Also, saw Shades of Ray on netflix. Romantic comedy. Way better than I thought it'd be.

I read a Jewish review of the new tarantino film that referred to is as "kosher porn".
