What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

I read a Jewish review of the new tarantino film that referred to is as "kosher porn".

:D! Is there anything better than that?

i havent like a tarantino movie yet. (is there someting wrong with me?)

I don't buy it.... :/

Pulp Fiction? Did not like?
Reservoir dogs?

I'll mention more... See if it jogs memory,

Sin City? (helped direct)
Dusk til Dawn?
Planet Terror?
Death Proof?
Kill Bill 1&2?

pulp fiction was the biggest waste of 3 hours of my life. (I want that 3 hours back!)
yep, seen them all.
Does nothing for me.
natural born killers i think was another. YUK.
Didnt enjoy any of em.

i like action and stuff, but not that kind.
I like Taken
riddick. etc. ( as in action, not tarantino)
but just not those few mentioned above.

I thought pulp fiction was interesting, but violent.
All of these:
Sin City? (helped direct)
Dusk til Dawn?
Planet Terror?
Death Proof?
Kill Bill 1&2?
utter sh1te through and through. IMHO:p

I just watched Coraline from the same company as did Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas (and one can kind of tell in the animation style.) Since I haven't seen Nightmare Before Christmas, I really can't compare them.

Oh, and concerning QT, I haven't watched anything more than promo clips of his films (just not my cup of tea.)

Watched "district 9" last night.
It seemed kind of lame to start, but give it a chance, it gets better.
I quite enjoyed it.
And I see a sequel coming. (District 10??)

Mort, bring a gym mat with you when you visit this thread and it won't hurt so much when you go *THUD* ;)

I watched So I Married an Axe Murderer for the millionth time last night. Funny funny movie, I recommend it to anyone that loves comedys.

lol!! Go with Grey and watch some vin diesle bollocks then.

Not a fan of all those, except sin city... That is far from ****. Excellent writing and styles.....

I loved em all, specially Sin City! That movie was a visual feast for the eyes, great noir writing, completely the awesome!

So I married an ax murderer, eh post? Sounds neat. I'll have to look into it, lol.

Has anyone watched Boondock Saints? If you haven't please do... unless your easily offendable, then you should totally lighten up, lol. Laughing is gewd 4 u! :D

Saw 500 Days of Summer and really enjoyed it. Saw Adam and thought it pretty good but 500 Days was much better. 500 Days was something like a modern Annie Hall.

I just watched Miracle at St. Anna. It was sooo good.

Ooooo! And I saw Inglorious Basterds! The people working the theatre would only say the first part... lol, makes me snicker still thinkin about it.

They were all like... "three tickest to *awkward pause* Inglorious... *nother awkward pause with snickering in backround* Last door on the right..." It was an uber chuckle moment, lol.

Movie. Was. Fantastic! It was so funny, and just downright perfect. Tarantino has a genius mind for timing and dialog, lol. Highly recomend if ya haven't already... well, that is if you like Tatantino films........ *trying not to pass out again*

Now I've got post traumatic stress! Great! Lol.

Batman? Correct? Like as originally conceived? Mowin down ppl wit machine guns?

Lol, I'm a bit biased... I grew up watchin the batman and ninja turtle movies...

They were what I was watchin when everyone else was watchin sesame street, lol.

A couple of "classic" Japanese monster movies: Daimajin and Mothra.

I might go watch some classic American horror next month, perhaps a couple with the late Vincent Price. *shrug*
