Finish the sentence: "I love it when...."

I can be of legitimate help (I can "give a hand instead of a foot") and the recipient truly appreciates the aid (however slight it is/was.)

I love it when I wake up in the morning knowing that today, if all goes as planned, I will welcome a baby into this world. Maybe I will cut the umbilical cord, which always brings a tear or two. Or maybe I will hold the mother's hand until mine is aching. Or maybe I will wrap my arms around the father who usually doesn't like that sort of thing. One thing I know for certain--if all goes well, I will smile, laugh, and cry for one and many reasons, and my heart will leap at the sight of this amazing event.

Looking forward to seeing you, little Casey.:)

I love it when all goes well. (See above.):)

I also love it when what happens surpasses what I had planned. I didn't get to be in the room this time (hospital rules have changed--only two people besides the mother and medical personnel). But my oldest daughter, the mother's sister, has never had the opportunity to see the other side of childbirth. She has always been the one delivering the baby. I thought it time she witnessed this beauty from a new perspective. I could see how much she wanted to do this in her eyes. I will never regret my decision!

By the way--Casey is 8 lbs., 2 oz. And he is 19 1/2 inches "tall" (at least he was a few hours ago :) ) And he is beautiful.

God's way of telling us, life is to continue on...:D

*representatives of the :kitty: delegation sneak their way past several security checkpoints in hospital (security guards, doctors and nurses) and head surreptitiously to the room where the family is. They pay their respects to the newborn and the mother, then "chat" with the grandmother and the baby's aunt before sneaking out of the hospital, making a quick side trip to the neonatal ICU to look in on those less fortunate*

I love it when I find myself in the midst of beautiful people with blessings to share. Thanks, wil, Q, flow, and Phyllis. :)

(Oh, and I love it when those great kitties show up. They always seem to know when and where they are needed. ;))

I love it when I cut something like a board or piece of plywood, and then the piece I cut off fits perfectly as the next piece I need.

I love it when everything in your life is going perfectly.

But then one part usually crumbles infront of you moments latter.
More hugs...I love it when we learn from the crumbles...often it takes a while...just look back at past crumbles that made good crumb cake....eventually this will too...

I love it when I try something I see on a home improvement show and it actually works! I've tried everything from the brown-paper-bag-wall treatment-thing to actually mixing drops of my acrylic art paints into the big can of stuff because they don't make the color I want. I must say, the paper bag thing didn't work out so well....
