What Movies Have You Seen Recently?

Slumdog isn't bad :D Not as great as it's been made out to be, but very entertaining and watchable.... Would get a six out of ten I fels. Oh Night train is a strange one.... maybe worht a watch I feel it snowballs out of control and has a predictable ending but if you ain't got nothing better to watch give it a go......

Not sure if I mentioned 'the rocker'? Great film lol....

Another ST movie? Oy.

OK, I remember the first, (thankfully what we got back didn't live long... {transporter malfunction}). I loved the special effects when they encountered the V-ger.

And I would happily buy a copy for my library...except the rotten scoundrels replaced it with something they triumphally call a "Director's Cut," which means all the really cool effects are deleted!

I was so disappointed, I don't own a single one of the ST movies. I've seen almost all of them, even rented one or two when that was the thing to do. But sheesh, there is such as too much of a good thing.

Besides, Shatner got married on the final episode of Boston Legal. To Spader. How's that for a twist?

'Start the Revolution without me.' (70's film) With my boy Gene Wilder in it!! oh and Sutherland!!! Great comedy good ol story too, twins mixed up at birth, between a rich aristiocrate(sp lulz) family and a bunch o beggars....... I like it not as much as the last wilder film I saw Cisco kid, but still great lol, can't beat the old ones. also so a film called stripper academy (COMEDY!!) Well... That's what it said, it turned out to be one of the worst films I've ever seen... Softcore porn acting... And just no real plot really just boobs... lulz.... I said boooooobz. Boobies... *clears throat*

Ok watch Zack and Miri make a porno (the guy that made knocked up, superbad, pineapple express..) That was a real good comedy!

Cisco Kid was great. I haven't seen it in a long time.

Yeah that one. I also liked Wilder in Blazing Saddles.

Went to see Inkheart with the family.

My daughter, niece and sister read the book and they thought the movie did it justice.

It was enjoyable, kept me in my seat, nothing to write home about but quite entertaining.

Thinking about old Gene Wilder films...takes me back to a different day and time.

I read where contemplating this sort of thing, old memories or getting around old friends brings back sensations and actions from that time period. I can feel that...quite interesting.

Speaking of old memories anyone remember the Groove Tube?

Now this is a movie for Alex.

But for real class:

The Fall
If you'd ask me what it was like, I'd say "Pan's Labrynth" ... it's a remake of a Bulgarian film, but it's beautiful.

THX 1138
American Graffiti
The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming

Only one is a comedy (heck, with Jonathan Winters, Carl Reiner, Brian Keith and Alan Arkin cast in it, well. . . .)

I'm planning to watch It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World again (It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)). A definite comedy (just look at the cast.) :p
